1. Open Command Prompt as Administrator Click on the Windows icon, type cmd, right click Command Prompt and choose Run as administrator.
2. Identify Cause Our example shows the following when we type:

Reason: Windows will execute 'NT TASK\Microsoft\Windows\Media Center\mcupdate_scheduled' scheduled task that requested waking the computer.

3. Start Task Scheduler and disable the task Click on the Windows icon & type Task Scheduler.
4. Disable the Media Center mcupdate_scheduled task.
On the left pane, click on the Media Center folder.
In the middle pane, click on mcupdate_scheduled.
On the right pane, click Disable.
